Halloween Jack, Tabletop Tealight Lantern (Rust)
A design inspired by one of the first mass-produced Halloween decorations in the 1900's from tin for children to carry during parades. The original designs were lit from the inside with a small pillar candle.
Rare to find, I decided to make my version of them from clay. Each one is handbuilt and handcarved, with room to hold (and light) a single tealight.
Measures 2x2x2
Made of red stoneware and glazed in a rusty tin glaze. Sits on any flat surface. Handmade in my Eastern Ontario studio.
