Dry Scoop

A dry scoop for multiple uses! Use in the kitchen, for pets or in the garden. Includes raw cotton handle for hanging. 
 
In the kitchen: Use for weighing dry goods like sugar, flour, oats and lentils.
 
In the garden: Use for birdseed, potting soil, wood chips/gravel for drainage (great for orchid growers or bonsai enthusists).
 
For animals: Use for dry kibble.
 
My shapes are inspired by historical Victorian 'chimney pots,' cathedral architecture and the principals of the Arts & Craft movement. I created my unique glaze recipe to resemble the frost-coloured lichen that grows on weathered limestone and granite buildings and headstones.
 
Handmade in Eastern Ontario. Wheel thrown, altered and handbuilt.
